A total of 48 houses and a commercial complex that required temporary water to be installed to complete this project. EPCOR Infrastructure Upgrades

2023 EPCOR Drainage NBHD renewal – Elmwood - was a comprehensive open cut project in west Edmonton. The project contained 24 catch basin lead replacements totalling 186m of total replacement. There were several sites on 159 Street a main arterial roadway. One site had to be completed in two stages in order to keep traffic flowing. Depths ranged from 2m to 4m deep. There were 18 catch basin replacements and connection to existing leads. There were approximated 20 neck repairs/frame and cover replacements. All sites were successfully completed and fully restored. The project also included 20 separate Mainline repairs totalling 121m, 52 residential sanitary service full replacements and 82 manhole/catch basin repairs (neck repairs, steps, benching and channel, full replacement of catch basins and manholes). Repairs on 159 Street and 87 Ave service road required coordination with MAP and Marigold Partners, respectively. Tree consultations and protection involved City of Edmonton Forestry and ETS bus detours due to work on 83 Ave required coordination. There were three schools in the area as well that needed coordination of work to be done in July and August. Starting date was June 5 and all work was completed by the end of October.

2021 Jasper Park NBHD EPCOR Drainage Program. The main focus of the Jasper Park project was the 70 sanitary services that needed to be replaced in this neighbourhood. There were some additional storm services that were added to the package. Several trees needed to be either trimmed or removed and we worked with EPCOR, City of Edmonton and the residents affected to make this happen. Hydrovac was used to uncover the copper water services to prevent unwanted contact with it. All sites were landscaped back to original condition including private walks, curb and gutter and roadway restoration. Grass restoration followed. Project also included 13 mainline repairs, 22 catch basin leads, and 75 catch basins/manhole repairs. Numerous steps, benching, frame and covers and neck repairs were also included. Ground conditions were incredibly challenging for this project due to unknown existing soil conditions. All sites were completed safely, on time and restored prior to Streamline mobilizing from site. Project started April 25, 2021 and was fully completed early September 2021 including all surface restoration work.
